Aussie Zak

A while ago a friend gave me some of her aussie's fur so I could use it for needle felting and I so I did. It's her aussie Žak (red-tri male). The base and white part were done with sheep wool over a wire structure. The copper tan was done with my toller's fur and the darker brown was done with Žak's fur.
He's posable and even smells like Žak.

This is the first time I did the head separate from the body and I managed to make it too small. And consequently the neck looks a bit too long too.

Surprisingly Wi's fur was a lot easier to work with than Žak's. I'm hoping to get more different dog furs to experiment more with them. And I need to get more white wool and start dying the colors myself. The color selection I've seen so far is very poor.
